JOB SUMMARY:
The Sales Representative is responsible for providing a direct sales service to assigned accounts or regions and ensuring that the quality and consistency of service is maintained. The incumbent is also responsible for attaining or surpassing monthly sales targets while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers, creating new and innovative branding opportunities and following up on collections.
LOCATION:
Aranguez, El Socorro
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Presents and sells an assigned portfolio of Company products and services to current and potential
- Analyses sales quota provided monthly by Sales and Business Development Manager and develops monthly sales plan to assist in attaining the Company’s overall sales objective.
- Develops and maintains relationships with key retail outlet personnel on route to facilitate the attainment of the Company’s objectives.
- Prepares and submits written field activity reports as required, which should account for customer visits, market intelligence and key achievements on the
- Ensures the timely collection of balances outstanding on customers’ accounts and provides all necessary related assistance and information to the Finance Department.
- Presents sales and merchandising plans to the respective retail outlets, negotiates implementation and monitors
- Identifies and resolves client concerns in a timely manner to maintain positive customer relationships.
- Gathers trade and competitive information and provides feedback to the Sales
- Monitors and facilitates, when necessary, the order processing or delivery functions to ensure efficient customer
- Manages returns, expiries and damages as per the Company’s policy, monitors stock levels at locations, and takes necessary action to minimize such
- Supports merchandising and promotional activities related to assigned
- Delivers small orders to assigned customers when required in the interest of providing timely and reliable customer
ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of five (5) GCE/CXC O’ Levels passes, two (2) of which must include English and Mathematics.
EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience working in a Trade-based role would be considered an

- Must hold a valid Trinidad and Tobago Class 3 Driver’s
